About Us

Creating a Just Society is Our Main Goal

The Association for PARIVARTAN of Nation (APNA) is a youth-led nonprofit organization registered under the Society Act of 1860 in the year 2018-19. The organization is recognized for its impactful work as a policy implementation NGO. The organization is committed to facilitating sustainable access to rights-based legislation for vulnerable families, with a particular focus on Adivasis, Pasmanda Muslims, Dalits, PVTGs, OBCs, students with disabilities, and economically weaker sections in India. Through evidence-based policy evolution, social and legal interventions, advocacy, and inclusive participation and dialogue, APNA aims to bridge the gap between policy frameworks and grassroots implementation.

What People
Say About Us

APNA does not just project what the future holds for our world, it also represents the ideal present. Having been involved in and inspired by productive engagements of this amazing association, I can only charge other students and young persons not just only in India but in the entire global south, to be actively involved in creating the societies they want to live in. Until that is done, they will continue to be led by lots who do not understand their own paths

Solomon Okedara, Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria

The problem of poor service delivery or implementation are attributes of the lack of capacity within the administration. APNA made sure to augment the capacity of the Ranchi district administration by working closely with the officers at the collectorate office. They ran a campaign on generating demand for the RTE admissions by distributing pamphlets and through community workshops of parents. The eligible guardians were supported by the volunteers to fill out their online applications for free of cost, which otherwise would cost the guardians between Rs 200-500. This end to end support to the guardians would surely go a long way in filling the ~700 seats of which less than 30% is filled every year. I extend my gratitude to the entire team of APNA for supporting the cause of RTE and hope the team continues to impact the society through their efforts.

As I begin to start a new journey of life after passing school, it was always in my mind to get into society and the Association for PARIVARTAN of Nation gave me this opportunity. Being a part of it and working with the team for more than a year now has provided me with the immense exposure to strengthen my abilities and stand for unheard voices. I consider working with APNA will allow me to heighten my adulthood to encounter the hurdles of real-life and furnish me the possibility to break the shackles.
I am enthusiastic about this opportunity and strongly understand that I would be devoted to the empowerment of society.

Learning with experienced and learned minds, exposes one to new possibilities and opportunities. My association with APNA was very enriching as I was able to use my skills and knowledge in transformation of the society. It's an extreme pleasure to a part of APNA which has successfully been able to bring positive changes in many lives. As an organization it has provided me ample opportunities to experiment, learn and grow.

Speaker Message

APNA is doing a great work in the State of Jharkhand. APNA has a great impact on everyone associated. I’ve always been glad to be associated with the APNA team because it is the right place to learn and to execute thoughts and ideas as I wish. The APNA team works with high dedication. All the nest for their future.

Advocate Sonal Tiwary, Law Officer in the Human Rights Law Network, Jharkhand

Have been very impressed with the sincerity of the student volunteers associated with APNA to ensure that children from marginalised backgrounds can access the best education, free of cost. This is a long struggle to secure children’s education rights, especially in Jharkhand, and it is a pleasure to see young minds of the fearless next generation earnestly committed to build an equal India.

Swati Narayan, Writer & visiting fellow at the Institute for Human Development

Three-day long Tribal Echoes -- organised by Association for Parivartan of Nation -- gave us a great opportunity to learn about different aspects of the Adivasi community.

Our knowledge has also been enriched by the young scholars who spoke at the forum.  I am grateful to you for giving me an opportunity to speak on the issue of ‘Education as a form of resistance’.

I am confident that your endeavor will work as a bridge between scholars and activists, who dream of making our society just and egalitarian.

Wishing you all the best!

Before, the people from this organization came in our village, we had no idea about our rights or our children's rights. At the beginning me and my family were unaware about the RTE act but when we came across APNA's RTE posters we decided to dial their toll free number almost at midnight, to my surprise, they humbly explained the process.
